Reader Tutorial: The Revolution Artwork by Aoiro Studio ...

There we are about one month since my last tutorial with Abduzeedo! And here am I again with another tutorial for you guys! First I wanted to thank Abduzeedo again for giving me this great opportunity for sharing my knowledge. I will show you how to create a super light effect using blending options, shapes and tools in Photoshop.

This was an artwork for a cover album named: "The Revolution". The idea behind this artwork was to combine the colors of Trance music and the evolution. I did some researchs on Trance albums and they seems to use a lot the blue color so I picked blue. I could have chosen some red for expressing the evolution but why not orange! I wanted to make it different! I won't be telling you all the steps in detail but I'll be giving you hints that will help you make your "own"design.

Step 1

Open Photoshop and create a new document. The size I am using is 2560x1600 pixels . Then you take the gradient tool (g) and you make a gradient using "Foreground to Background", so from black to a dark blue (#050655)
