Many of the employ men t sections on college websites ask you to attach your resume, cover letter, AND transcripts when applying for a job on their site. I can attach a resume & cover letter (both are Word documents)….but their system won’t allow me to attach my transcripts because they say they are over 2 MB. I scanned my college transcripts (which are only 2 pages long) into a PDF file, but they are too big (because of all the colors and water marking on a transcript); into a zip file, but they were too big; and I also saved them as a TIF file and copied the picture of the transcript into Word, and it was still too big. Even doing all these things one page at a time was too big. My question is, does anyone know how to copy and past the TEXT of a college transcript into a Word document ? (I don’t need the watermark of a college transcript and all the fancy colors of a transcript copied and pasted….I just need to copy the text into a Word document) so it will be under 2 MB.
