Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows 7

I cannot speak directly to the compatibility issues but I have never had any problems when I moved up the Office ladder of products. I've gone from 2003 to 2007 and now using 2010. The "save" menu for 2007 (and 2010) versions includes the 2003 version as an option. If the UK version is much the same as the US version except for the spelling (color/colour, etc) I would think that she should have no problems. Is she using the UK or US version?
