EntaTech has signed a deal to be the exclusive distributor of Kaspersky Lab’s complete OEM software range, which the security vendor believes will make up 20 per cent of its overall retail income next year.
Jon Atherton, EntaTech’s commercial vice president, said: “We understand our customers need the most they can get from our suppliers, which is why we work hard to provide them not only with essential and innovative products, but we pass on the additional benefits, knowledge, and support to help their business succeed.
“Our exclusivity rights with the complete OEM range from Kaspersky Lab supports this approach which will help stabilise the channel and allow our customers to get the maximum benefit from installing Kaspersky Lab software”
EntaTech already had a strong relationship with the security firm, having been a UK distributor for Kaspersky software for over three years.
“We were looking for an OEM distribution partner with a strong position in the market, and EntaTech is one of the strongest players in this sector,” added Geoff Bradley, Kaspersky’s distribution account manager. “It is because of its position that we’ve given EntaTech exclusive rights on reselling all of Kaspersky Lab’s OEM software.
