How long must we wait before iPad 2 is in our hands? Not long, if this rumour is to be believed. According to an anonymous tipster, Apple’s been working with renowned British photographer David Sims to create an iPad commercial in New York for the second generation device, even though there weren’t any new models at the set. The tipster tells us that everyone there signed a standard NDA and the new iPad will be swapped in to the shoot in post-production so as to keep the product as secret as possible ( iPad 2 ads shot by David Sims in New York last month – 9 to 5 Mac ).
I would have thought it to be impossible to ’sell out’ of an iPhone app, but Skyfire’s developers boasted a few days ago that they’d pulled the app because too many people bought it. Go figure. Anyway, it’s just been put back on to the App Store so if you’ve got a US iTunes account, $2.99 of spare credit and a willingness to watch converted Flash videos on your iPhone, you should go and get it now before it flies off the virtual shelves again ( Skyfire being rereleased into App Store ‘in batches,’ coming to other nations in due time – Engadget ).
